False media – we don’t need it, do we?
Public Enemy sure as hell got a point there.
And Noam Chomsky put it this way:
If we don’t believe in freedom of expression for people we despise, we don’t believe in it at all.

I got mad and furious the other day when I read the newspaper.

Teacher gave speech at anti-Semitic conference“.

I guess you’ve heard of it.
The teacher, Jan Bernhoff, now branded as a “Holocaust teacher” (he’s not even teaching history, he’s teaching computers…), is now temporarily suspended from work, and the city of Stockholm, his employer, wants him gone for good. However, that will be hard since he gave this speech on his spare time.
(UPDATE nov 2007: He lost his job.)

Let’s just say he was teaching history then. Is it unappropriate of him doing that considering his personal viewpoints? Let’s say he doesn’t agree 100% with the established history of the holocaust that occurred in Rwanda instead… Or let’s say he’s a christian teaching religion. Is he unsuitable as a teacher?
You digest that for a second.

People get upset by him visiting this conference, and that’s merely because they don’t know what they’re talking about, and they certainly don’t know what he is talking about.
So, let’s see what’s wrong with all this crap.

The conference in Teheran is NOT anti-semitic. That’s just the easy way out, told by uneducated people scared to face the horrible facts.
Sure, there are most certainly those visiting this conference who share a common hatred against the Jews, who have racist opinions and who would prefer that Israel was nuked to oblivion and so forth, but again – the conference is not anti-semitic.

The newspapers are very eager to mention that David Duke, ex-KKK leader, took part in this conference, and they also manage to mention Robert Faurisson because of his skepticism regarding the established version of the Holocaust (not mentioning his constant fight for your right to express yourself in whatever context possible without being put to jail for it…), but no one mentions the Rabbis, the orthodox Jews, in the audience. One can see that for himself by looking at the photos, but people rarely do any thinking by themselves nowadays…

“We came here to put the Orthodox Jewish viewpoint,” said British Rabbi Ahron Cohen. “We certainly say there was a Holocaust… But in no way can it be used as a justification for perpetrating unjust acts against the Palestinians.”
http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/6490BD25-3FFA-4E7D-9D1F-D3A23F7E84DF.htm

When the papers write “the revisionists are denying the Holocaust, they are Holocaust deniers” it comes across like revisionists and skeptics claim it didn’t happen, when in fact they are merely questioning the facts that we’re given today – and for that they are being sent to jail. It is obviously a crime to ask questions. That is the horrible truth.

The conference makes it possible to have a serious open debate about the Holocaust. That has not been the case earlier on because skepticism regarding the Holocaust has been a crime for over 60 years – and still is in a lot of “democratic” countries.
Don’t believe me?
Are you willing to learn some hard facts?

First, there are no easy answers. You’ll have to do some reading, some research and some thinking for yourself instead of relying on speculations, rumours, hearsay and what you think you know about the Holocaust.
Ask yourself: What did I learn in school regarding the Holocaust and what have I learned since then? Not much, right?

First, you should learn the difference between anti-semitism and anti-zionism.

Second
, check out the site http://www.jewsagainstzionism.com/.

Third
, learn the basic facts about Holocaust revisionism and always keep them in mind. Do it here.

Fourth
, read about the relationship between Israel and USA, and its connection with the Holocaust. Try this page.

Fifth
, get a hold of the book The Holocaust Industry by Norman Finkelstein and read it.

Sixth
, look up what has happened to David Irving, Germar Rudolf and other people who’ve dared to question the official version of the oh-so-holy Holocaust. (Hint: Expressing a different opinion regarding the Holocaust than what’s written in the history books equals jail.)

Seventh
, ask yourself: How many Jews died in the Holocaust? Six million, right? Then ask yourself: How many german civilians died? How many gypsies? How many homosexuals? You don’t know? You don’t have a clue? Hmm… Why is that?
You should really learn how zionist forces use lobbyism to gain monopoly using the term Holocaust. Mind you, in their eyes there’s only one Holocaust. Forget about the Turks eliminating millions of Armenians, forget about Pol Pot in Cambodia, forget about Stalin and Rwanda
Damn, I could continue with this list for weeks.

So let’s have a look at some hard facts instead.

Remember, history is revised all the time, every day, and history always has to be re-written as we go along exploring new facts, getting more information and learning new things. Pretty obvious, isn’t it? How come you can’t even ask questions about it without being sent to jail then?

The Holocaust history is drastically different if you look back some 50 years and compare with what we know today, but there’s still some obviously wrong “facts” being presented in history books and newspapers, even though they have officially been dismissed as facts a long time ago – even by established historians.

Examples:

1. On May 12th, 1945, a few months after the liberation of Auschwitz, a Soviet State Commission reported that not less than four million people were murdered there. This number was displayed at the Auschwitz State Museum until 1991, when it was lowered to 1.1 million. So, from four million to one million overnight… What had been established facts for over 40 years, and thus being claimed as truth and norm, was all of a sudden totally wrong. And we’re talking millions of people here, not some small details.
Of course, this doesn’t lessen the gravity of the crime (remember the basic revisionist claims?) – even one murdered is one too many – but it makes one hell of a difference when talking politics.
Still, the six million figure is what most people refer to when being asked about the number of deaths.

2.
When writing about the concentration camps, newspapers very often use the term extinction camps. Not too long ago one of the largest newspapers in Sweden referred to Dachau as an extinction camp where people were gassed to death.

Here’s two links to well known (non-revisionist) sites admitting that there were no gassings in the Dachau camp. It’s an established fact. And people have been sentenced to death for this, because witnesses have lied about massgassings in Dachau.
http://motlc.learningcenter.wiesenthal.org/pages/t016/t01679.html
http://www.holocaust-history.org/dachau-gas-chambers/

Also note that the death statistics for Dachau today are estimated to 32,000. Compare that to the sign outside the camp asking visitors to remember the 238,000 people who died in the camp… It was there for many years. It was completely wrong.

The photos…

Read the revisionist basic claims again. Revisionists do NOT claim that there weren’t any deaths in the war. People died horrible deaths. They were slain, executed, died of illness, starvation… No doubt about that. No one has ever denied that either, and if they do they’re just plain stupid. Again, get your facts straight.

Why is it forbidden by law to examine the earth where people claim there are massgraves? Why don’t they allow people to investigate all the archives that have been closed for sixty years? Wouldn’t that be a good way to get rid of all this controversy? In short, why can’t we let historians do their research like they always do?
Well, it’s certainly not happening…

If you accuse a whole nation of the most horrific crime in the history of mankind, then we must of course commence the most thorough investigation of the crime scene ever. How strange it hasn’t happened yet.

What’s the point with all this Holocaust revisionist stuff?

The swedish online magazine Kulturen wrote something interesting the other day.

“Som den israeliska journalisten Tom Segev visat har den specifika berättelsen som Israel byggt upp kring andra världskrigets judeförföljelse, där omkring 6 miljoner judar mördades, medfört att dagens israeler anser sig vara offer för utrotningslägren i betydligt större utsträckning än den generation som faktiskt utsattes för dem. Förintelsen har, enligt dessa synpunkter, således kommit att inkorporeras som en del av staten Israels berättelse om sig själv.”

In short: The Israel citizens (of Jewish origin) of today seem to claim to be even more affected by the Holocaust than the generation of people who were there and took part in the actual Holocaust.
There you have one point out of many. Reading The Holocaust Industry you’ll come up with a lot more if your mind is not all crooked and corrupt.
(Note: Förintelseindustrin is available in Swedish, published by Ordfront)

Do you think all of the above are the opinions of nutcases, maybe a part of some mindless conspiracy theory? Please, think again.

“Eisenhower’s Crusade in Europe is a book of 559 pages; the six volumes of Churchill’s Second World War total 4,448 pages; and de Gaulle’s three-volume Mémoires de guerre is 2,054 pages. In this mass of writing, which altogether totals 7,061 pages (not including the introductory parts), published from 1948 to 1959, one will find no mention either of Nazi “gas chambers,” a “genocide” of the Jews, or of “six million” Jewish victims of the war.”

———-

The biggest problem here lies in the fact that when questioning the Holocaust you might be accused of doing the dirty work of the nazis. On the other hand, if you support the official version of the Holocaust – not questioning the obvious myths and lies – you support zionist hatred and violence.
Or you simply don’t care at all about these things. It’s your choice.
However, I despise both nazis and zionists equally. I’m all in it for the truth.

“Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored” as Aldous Huxley once so truthfully said.

One last note:

In the early days you got punished or executed if you denied God.
Galileo Galilei – the father of science, modern astronomy and modern physics – was forced to abjure, on his knees in front of the mighty Inquisition, his heretical views that the Earth moves around the Sun.
We haven’t evolved much since then, have we?

PS. Jan Bernhoff’s speech is available here for download. You go ahead and find the alleged anti-semitism in there… Good luck.

>The war on/in Iraq

>Originally posted December 11, 2006.

WARNING:

This post may steal some of your precious TV-time. Or the time spent drinking beer in bars. Or the countless hours you spend on MySpace, waiting in line for recognition…

”Oh my God, not another text about the war in Iraq!”, I hear you christian sheep moan. “Why aren’t there more?”, is my reply. There sure as hell should be. Each and everyone of us in the Western World should sit down, read the relevant facts, think them through, analyze and criticize and then write something about it – so we at least know what the fuck is going on.

We need enlightenment to make the necessary connections. We need to know about the neocons and their thirst for power and blood. We need knowledge about the seriously unhealthy relationship between Israel and USA. There’s tons of trash we need to sort out and it’s gonna take most of your precious TV-time. Sorry about that.

But hey, I’m really writing this for myself, to collect my own thoughts and sort out relevant information amongst my billions of bookmarks… So when I say “You might want to read…” below, I’m actually saying “I, Mattias Pettersson, really should read…”.
So now you know. So here we go.

First, you might want to read “The rise and and decline of the neo-cons” published in Asia Times Online. This essay gives the necessary background on the neoconservatives’ march to power and pain.

You may then continue with “How Neoconservatives conquered Washington – and launched a war” published on the Antiwar.com site.

For a fresh opinion, a newsflash and a short history of neoconservatism: read Gary Kamiya’s brief but well put together article simpy entitled “Neoconservatism – RIP”.

For fairly straight facts about the war in/on Iraq, click here for the Aljazeera version.

And as a reminder, here’s all the gruesome Abu Ghraib files – 279 photographs and 19 videos from the Army’s internal investigation record (check the left column). Shocking truth.

If you’re into fat, well written, thought provoking books then read on just a bit further.

George Packer, a liberal intellectual who supported the invasion of Iraq, has written an excellent book which shows how not all journalists are close minded scum writing on behalf of somebody else’s truths. Packer was truly convinced that the invasion had good intentions, but the book shows how these intentions went terribly wrong.
I haven’t had the time to finish this one (far from it…), but just by skimming through the pages you get the idea that this man is here for the truth in all its honesty and he’s prepared to change his mind if his beliefs turn out to be false.
Read an extensive review of his book Assassin’s Gate: America in Iraq here.

The photo above is taken from AfterDowningStreet.org and shows war as it really is, not like the censored version we see on TV or in Saving Private Ryan. No matter how strange this may sound to you, I’m telling you straight: Some people don’t know what a war looks like.

>Alpha Erection

>Originally posted December 10, 2006.

Holy hell, what a glorious evening, this Friday 8th of December 2006!
Fuck “No Fun”, this was the total opposite – total fun.

The Segerhuva scientists had arranged this evening in the name of noise (no, not Melt Banana/Boredoms-style as the local fuck-ups (journalists) wrote in Metro), and we were honoured by the presence of the almighty Government Alpha straight out of Japan.

The venue, Sugarbar at Kammakargatan in Stockholm, was the smallest ever (my living room is twice the size), and when 30 people had arrived the place was overcrowded. Cool thing, since you were forced to be in the front no matter what. Hail bar gigs!

Sewer Election and Treriksröset (Dan and Tommy) were up first, Tommy introducing his companion as “Sewer Erection”, which was quite funny knowing that the local fuck-ups (journalists) wrote “Sewer Selection” in the paper.

Unfortunately no sound at all (to my knowledge) was heard from Dan’s equipment due to speaker failure, so Tommy’s stuff was all we could hear. Dan had brought these cymbals and metal sheets and various metal junk all clamped together, and that is what he used – banging that shit hard straight into the table. Being in the front it was fucking dangerous with that metal shit flying around. If he´d hit me in the face I would’ve killed him. But it was cool as hell at the same time, and I immensely enjoyed it.

Noise gigs need to be more on the physical side or else you’ll yawn yourself to death. This gig was a perfect example of how to keep the audience on their toes, always paying attention to what was going on so you’d be ready when that kamikaze cymbal came flying through the air aimed at your throat… Bring danger back into noise!

The gig was aggressive without being macho (hello Macronympha!) and in the end Tommy freaked out screaming like a father figure and hitting his pedals with all he had. Dan destroyed that poor table. Government Alpha stood by my side screaming. It was all good, but the sound failure was a big disappointment.

Yasutoshi Yoshida (who is Government Alpha) had brought a friend and his stage name was Montage. It was kind of funny seeing him unload his super high tech hardware from heaven when Sewer Election/Treriksröset had used just a minimum of equipment, but the guy’s japanese… Nuff said.

He started his set with some rumbling dark loops which sounded quite ok. He added some speech samples (in japanese) and continued this way for a while. Nothing spectacular, really. It seems he had problems with his mic, and all I could think of (like with the SE/TRR-gig) was that mic not working properly and it distracted me from hearing what was actually going on. Fucking bad. At gigs like this the sound is extremely important. It should be insanely loud and it should – above all – work! Unfortunately the sound was way too low, and I even stood in the front close to the speaker.

Montage didn’t impress me that much, so I looked forward to GA blowing my brains out instead. And for sure he did! This mini-man was totally amazing! I’d like to put one thousand exclamation marks here, because he was the absolute shit!

From the first shriek he was totally into it, mastering the controls like a rocket scientist, producing the harshest and most varied noise I’ve heard in a long while. Fortunately the microphone worked this time so he yelled his lungs out rock’n’roll-style: “ONE TWO, ONE TWO THREE FOUR!!” and then BANGBANGBANG full throttle chaos.

The small crowd in this jam packed little venue went berserk, screaming, fistbanging and worshipping. Tommy did the only reasonable thing and picked up one of the speakers, lifting it up and down like a fucking Samson-maniac. Palle from Sanctum helped him out and together they held this speaker on their shoulders while Government Alpha churned out the most vicious noise known to swedish ears. I was laughing out loud because it was just so damned good.

The gig lasted ten minutes. Pure genius.

Despite the weak sound, this evening was pure fun. Cool people showed up and the mood was perfect. No bitter, grim-looking neonazi faggots (well, I bet some of them were there…), just cool people having a good time.
Because let’s face it: Those neonazi faggots tend to look upon industrial/noise/extreme-gigs as some sanctuary; the only place where they dare to raise their right thalidomide child arms in a nazi salute in “public”. Pathetic cunts, I just laugh at your so called “conviction”, your feeble attempt to instill fear. Go home and comb your hair that you’ve dyed black and cut in the formation of a cunt, listen to your weak synth shit on your weak stereo and just wank off in front of your weak computer. Hitler would’ve pissed on your worthlessness and lack of pride.

Mind you, I find it totally ok sieging heil and all that crap when it’s done for fun, but when those priceless fucks who claim to be true do it on gigs I just wanna fuck them up the ass with a jack hammer.

The European scene has its nazi shit, the American scene has its serial killer shit… Japan, on the other hand, just blast without no lame image. And that was what this evening was all about; no lame image – just blast. Punk as fuck.

>McCarthy’s The Road

>Originally posted December 07, 2006.

Every now and then you come across a genuine masterpiece. It could be everything from a goddamn silly ice cream (hail Piggelin!) to some amazing album/movie/ painting/whatever. This time, for me, it was a book. It’s a true rarity to find such a masterpiece as The Road by Cormac McCarthy.

Armageddon. The final doom. Post-apocalypse. The sky bleeds ashes, wastelands prevail, all fish and birds are long gone dead and the sun, when it occasionaly shows, is bleak. The world is coming to an end, finally.

In the midst of chaos, confusion and despair we find an unnamed father and his son making their way through this barren earth. They follow the road that leads to the sea. People they meet are only after their flesh. Cannibals in the most vicious sense. The father and son have only themselves to rely on. That and their great love for each other.

Because in spite of all darkness and death, this is a story about love and it’s truly heartbreaking. The amazing composition, the multilayered set-up, the extraordinary prose, is what makes this novel the best book in 2006.

I travel by train for almost two hours every day. That makes for a lot of reading, and I’m thankful for that, because I read The Road in just a couple of days and it completely devoured me. So much pain, so much darkness, yet so much love. Perfect.

As one reader wrote:

“Don’t read this book on an overseas flight. You’ll find yourself, as I did, standing in the back of the cabin weeping.”

When reading The Road I think of demons. I think of Shogun Assassin and I think of classic russian movies like Stalker combined with modern, intellectual remakes of seriously dumb stuff like Bronx Warriors and Mad Max.

And when reading I always have this gut feeling, this dark brooding feeling, that somebody’s gonna make a movie out of this and I’m gonna have great expecations and it’s gonna suck so bad because there’s no way in hell that a movie can make this book justice. No way.

The Road deals with universal themes such as death, human nature and the condition of the world we’re in. It’s classic stuff, and if you know your Bible and shiver with delight when confronted with Old Testament quotes you will enjoy this for sure. This is doomsday reading and the clocks stopped at 1:17… A reference to John 1:17 in the Book of Revelations, they say.

This is the first book I’ve read by Cormac McCarthy. I’m dying to get my hands on his other ones, call in sick, disconnect the phone, shut off the computer and just plunge into darkness once more.

Recommended soundtrack when reading:
Godspeed You Black Emperor

>Bad Brains – The baddest!

>Originally posted December 06, 2006.

They weren’t meant to be. They were the ultimate contradiction in terms.

Bad Brains – black as night and bad as hell. They formed in Washington DC in 1977 as a jazz fusion ensemble, but then out of the blue pioneered the whole american hardcore scene being the fastest and most extreme band for years to come. Even today their old stuff kicks the shit out of most bands’ so called ‘hardcore’.

The intensity of their shows is still unmatched.

>Bon Scott – Saviour of The Soul

>Originally posted December 06, 2006.

Haha, just look at this man! Look at his jeans way up high, so tight that his balls seem to be gasping for air…
This dude is on to something. Or was on to something, since this is the great Bon Scott who died rock’n’roll style in february 1980.

So what’s that got to do with anything? I almost never listen to AC/DC anyway.

Well, me and my good friend Micke (his online keyboard warrior name is WorkKills) had a very serious talk the other day. We discussed deep shit like how to gain control and freedom in your life, how to cultivate one’s independence, totally controlling your own time, living the life you really want to live, freeing your soul… The biggest problem here mainly being that we both work 8 hours a day. Fucking bummer.

What are you prepared to sacrifice? You have to sacrifice something valuable in order to gain something else, roughly speaking. Are you willing to live your life in constant poverty because you quit your job? Are you willing to leave your loved ones, your wife, your best friends, to live like a hermit… all for the sake of freedom? What about ending your life?
ACTA NON VERBA!

Stuff like that.

It was a good discussion and it was serious as hell. We didn’t reach any mindbending conclusions, but it’s really great to have these kind of talks once in a while. It makes you think even harder.

The best thing though was when Micke put on this AC/DC record and everything just fell into place. So perfect, so simple and so true. And so cheesy in a way.
But the fact is that the very essence of what we’d been talking about was put into words with such ease by the man with the tight trousers… Bon Scott put it this way:

My Daddy was workin’ nine to five
When my Momma was havin’ me
By the time I was half alive
They knew what I was gonna be
But I left school and grew my hair
They didn’t understand
They wanted me to be respected as
A doctor or a lawyer man
(But I had other plans)

Gonna be a rock ‘n’ roll singer
Gonna be a rock ‘n’ roll star
Gonna be a rock ‘n’ roll singer
I’m gonna be a rock ‘n’ roll,
A rock ‘n’ roll star

Well I worked real hard and bought myself
A rock ‘n’ roll guitar
I gotta be on top some day
I wanna be a star
I can see my name in lights
And I can see the queue
I got the devil in my blood
Tellin’ me what to do
(And I’m all ears)

Gonna be a rock ‘n’ roll singer
Gonna be a rock ‘n’ roll star
Gonna be a rock ‘n’ roll singer
I’m gonna be a rock ‘n’ roll,
A rock ‘n’ roll star
(I hear it pays well)

Well you can stick your nine to five livin’
And your collar and your tie
You can stick your moral standards
‘Cause it’s all a dirty lie
You can stick your golden handshake
And you can stick your silly rules
And all the other shit
That you teach to kids in school
(‘Cause I ain’t no fool)

The last verse pretty much says it all.

I’m not saying we’re dreaming of becoming rock stars, that’s not the point at all. What’s he really saying? Just listen to the words, the way he sings these last lines and then worship forever.

The essence of it all? Well, maybe something like do what thou wilt, do your own thing, do it yourself, don’t believe the hype… The standard clichés. You know all that crap. But why the fuck do you still sit around doing nothing then? Think about that instead.

Sometimes all you need is a dude like Bon Scott, telling it like it is, and then things seem just a tiny bit better.

R.I.P.

(The song is called Rock ‘N Roll Singer and is from their second album T.N.T. (1975))
